  • Posting a single article or substantially similar articles to an excessive number of news groups or mailing lists, or continued posting of articles that are off-topic (e.g., off-topic according to the newsgroup or mailing list charter or if the article provokes complaints from regular readers of the newsgroup or mailing list for being off-topic) are strictly prohibited.
  • Posting copyrighted material or software to any news group or mailing list without the explicit approval of the copyright holder is a violation of federal law and international treaties and is strictly prohibited.
  • Posting private e-mail to any newsgroup or mailing list without the explicit approval of the sender is strictly prohibited.
  • Impersonating another user or otherwise falsifying one's user name in e-mail or any post to any newsgroup or mailing list is strictly prohibited.

  • Unsolicited Commercial Email
Cyberbay.net is very serious in regards to UCE.The Cyberbay.net network MAY NOT be used to transact Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE) or Unsolicited Bulk Email (UBE). This is commonly referred to as SPAM. Customers of Cyberbay.net may not use, or permit others to use, the Cyberbay.net network or any other network through Cyberbay.net's systems to send UCE. Customers of Cyberbay.net may not host, or permit hosting of, sites or information that is advertised by UCE from other networks. Cyberbay.netcustomers that transact UCE may be given an email warning to their Cyberbay.net email address of the primary account owner but usually we will immediately deactivate the account. Any question regarding this SPAM policy maybe directed to postmaster@cyberbay.net

If mass email or UCE is sent, the your account will be terminated and a substantial fee ($500) can be imposed per complaint we receive regarding your UBE, UCE or SPAM.

In the event the customer is unreachable, or is unable to stop the UCE, we reserve the right to place the account in an inactive state.

  • Cyberbay.net retain the rights to take whatever action necessary to keep our service free from UCE and UBE.

Suggestion on Posting in Newsgroups

  • Posts to a newsgroup should be relevant to that newsgroup. We advise you to read it for a few days and become familiar with its language, tone, style and expectations.
  • Realize that posts using fake or incomplete names are perceived as less legitimate or "Junk" by many readers.

No-No's

  • The post may NOT contain information about discounts or prices.
  • An initiated post may not appear more than once a month. BUT, if an already existing discussion presents a reasonable opportunity for you to reveal a related service or opportunity, you may mention it in a way resembling the context, language and style of the discussion.

Cyberbay.net reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of any such contribution.

The goal is to prevent the newsgroups from taking on the appearance of a classified ad section but also to allow customers to share interests with others and build communities.
